Ancient Crossarm

This crossarm was laying in the weeds amongst a lot of old mining equipment, etc. It appears to be a very early one that never saw service, or limited exposure, if that. Note: two offset holes for attaching to pole. These were usually spiked to the pole, rather than bolted. Holes show no sign of distortion from spikes. Pins are tall and have a very defined "bell" shape at the wide point. The insulator on the left is a Prismic HG 164 in a light aqua. It was on the pin as you see it when I found it. The silver-grey SB HG 164 was found nearby and placed on the other empty pin.
