Fire Engine Red LMS Porcelain Insulator

Here's a really hot fire engine red U-1540 porcelain insulator that was rescued from England by NR Woodward many years ago. You see the bullers marked pieces now and then, but you rarely see the LMS marked ones. This one has a particularly crisp incuse of the Bullers logo plus 1939, all highlighted in red glaze. Apart from a 1/2 pinky nail base chip and a fleaflake {I guess I've coined a new word!} ;-) on base glaze this beauty is VNM+
