I picked up this no dial phone on the bay for about $10. It may have been used as an eavesdropping phone??? because it was missing the transmitter in the handset. The phone is dated 2 12 57 and the inside is pristine condition. I was able to find a transmitter from an online phone restoration supply. It rings and answers. I was searching a while for a phone in this nice condition (I think I will use some plastic polish to shine) as I remember my grandfather had one when I was young. I believe he got his from the railroad. When he passed away, my grandmother was so upset that she got rid of much of his stuff that he hadn't given me when he was alive. I just love that old time ring!!!!!
