Got around to taking some pictures of the pole line and lights I set up in the woods by my parents house. The whole system runs on 110 volts and is protected by a GFCI so no one gets a fatal shock if they come in contact with an energized line. A lot of my poles are existing trees because of their convenient location and because the ground here is terrible for digging holes, rocks galore!

The pole shown here is the heart of the system. This is where the main power is fed to and then branches off to the different lines. It's also where all the lights are controlled from. I've also used some actual 12Kv disconnects for the lines that are constantly powered (they feed outlets at different locations). I went for a 4Kv substation look here.
