Here we see the almost finished work of art. Still very hot, but cool enough to see the internal swirls starting to show up. From here the marble goes into an annealing oven where the temperature is reduced slowly over a 12 hour period. If left out in the open and allowed to cool by itself, the glass explodes in a short amount of time.
