One mile east of the Pennsboro, W. Va. depot is a 779" brick lined tunnel. Old U.S. Hwy 50 passes over the tunnel and so do the telegraph poles. Here is one of the poles, still with insulators and lines. Pole tags on the pole are marked: "C & P. W. VA."
