The perfect desktop addition( I think )for do- it-yourselfers, mechanical enthusiasts, craftsman, etc. Back in the day, before recycling was in, my grandfather found a neat way to recycle old distributor caps (now less common in cars). He would drill out the contacts, paint them, and mount them on a homemade stained base. Voila!! A nice unique desktop pen & pencil stand. Unfortunately, this one I made has a store bought base (I don't have wood working tools) but I did stain it. My grandfather must have made dozens in his later years and given out as gifts.
