This was the only threadless I found among the long-forgotten cache of insulators that a Brimfield Flea Market dealer had. Very briefly, he had some older Brookfields in an apple basket upon my hitting upon his booth on Thursday, July 7. Joe and I did not get there until late afternoon that day. We covered as much ground as possible because heavy rain was forcasted for the next day (which did happen, remnants of TS Cindy). I asked the dealer if he had more and he said "yes". He invited me back to his residence, recently purchased with a bunch of "crap" that he wanted to get rid of. Fast. In a rotting wooden barrel with the stench of dead critters becoming more overwhelming as I dug deeper I found this insulator among numerous others. Surrounded by 40s/50s newspapers, hay and decaying "whatever" that had found itself there untouched for over 50 years. More pix to follow as time permits. Thanks for looking!
