I was just wondering what a CD 113.4, "C.T.R.G. - No 9" is. It's in an old edition of "Most About Glass Insulators" but I could not find it on the online price guide. What happened to the 113.4 CD number? Is it still accurate? Was it reassigned to CD 113 or maybe something else? And what does "C.T.R.G." stand for? Just curious...

I used the black and white picture from Millholland's book the best I could to reproduce the look of the insulator from this modified drawing of a CD 113 from the online price guide. It's embossing: Front - "C.T.R.G." - Back - "No 9", Drip Points, in Deep Green.

EDIT: I received an email from Caleb that states that this insulator is made in Brazil and is found in the "Glass Insulators From Outside North America" (GIFONA) book. The abreviation is short for the National Telephone Company of Rio Grande. He didn't say what the new CD number was but now that I know it's forgein to North America, it's nice to know where I can find it.
