My dad and friend of his were hunting insulators up in the Sierra Nevada a while back and came across this little beauty displayed nicely way up in a tree. They decided it would look nicer closer to the ground so it was promptly plucked from it's resting place. The 123's new home is complete with wire splice, wire tie, square nails, orignal side pin and even real lichen! (All this so the little guy wouldn't get home sick.) They went on a very sucessful hunt finding another EC&M and other insulator lovelys which now too are displayed much closer to earth, as it should be!

The indoor picture doesn't do the EC&M's color justice so I brought it out into the bright July sunlight. It has some nice amber/green snot in it and tons of bubbles...
