Here is an interesting study in contrasts of the CD 102 Pennycuick. Notice the one on the left with the small dome, short stature and shallow wire groove. It looks like it would barely hold a wire. I've never seen another like it. It has bubbles throughout and a factory sag in the glass at the mold line for added character. On the right is a beefy dark aqua with an overhang of glass on the inner skirt. Bigger all around. It is almost as though they re-worked the entire mold. Both have the characteristic teat on the top of the dome. They represent the extremes in size for Pennycuicks that I have seen. Price for the pair is $35.00 shipped to your door. I guess I misjudged the rarity / demand for these. Still a neat pair. Reduced to $20.00. I will be listing several other insulators this evening and will gladly combine to lower your total price. |
