This is what the remnants of the J-ball pile looked like after it was excavated and moved to a material separation area at the construction site. By this time 90% of the trash pile was already "processed". According to Bruce Cash, an insulator collector and metal detectionist, there were THREE insulator dumps discovered so far on the property. The first one contained mostly early Fred Locke porcelain power pieces, the second, was the J-ball dump. According to Steve Marsh, the hardware I found with the J-balls indicates it was a wrecked out electric trolley system. The third dump contained mainly Brookfield glass. I have recovered glass and porcelain from all three dumps. Next picture [id=123115225] |
