This is a World War 1 era lemon juicer that I bought on eBay a few years ago. It was perfectly clear at the time I received it. I put it up on the roof for one year trying to turn it purple. It did turn a light straw amber, in the thicker areas, after a few months in the sun. I have seen this happen with dug up bottles from the era 1914 to maybe 1925. It is usually a light amber, not a very dark effect.
