A side view of the pole. Note the angled stand-off insulator pins on the drops to the transformers. That's the way they did it in the old days. PGE has a small area on this side of town that still has a 2400/4160 Volt primary. Most of the system is the now standard 7200/12,500 volt primary. I am going to go now, because the lady in the house across the street is looking at me through the window like I am suspicious, maybe a terrorist with a camera trying to figure out how to cut off her utilities. A couple of gangsta type dudes are out on their porch looking at me like "whassup"?
