My beagle Toby always runs for his favorite spot on the love seat when it's time to go in his kennel when we leave. If my wife or myself are home he sits here waiting for the other to come home. The love seat is just a couple of feet from our side door and he can see when one of the cars pulls up. He runs up to the door glass and starts pogo-sticking up and down.
