Close Up of CD 134 T-H.E. Co. Amber Pole(s)

This photo was taken around 1905. There is a weathered replacement pole where this one stood. (Sorry for the fuzzy scan but this was the best I could do!) There were no known ambers on this specific pole but a few were located within a half-mile along this main line. All six wires remain and these are now on a six-pin crossarm. I will follow-up with this same street scene as it is today. The Central Fire Station is located in the background on the left and still is there. And as always the fire alarm telegraph wires connected to the Gamewell pull-boxes (in electrical series) from all around Rockland still converge there.
