Why keep this junk around and not use it? If you have a choice of having openwire around the house, why not? This is part of a low voltage halogen system I rigged up in my computer loft. On this end, I placed blocking in the wall to set the original lag screws into before I sheet rocked. There is considerable strain on the lines to keep them tight.
