A relatively easy hunt in the suburbs of the BIG EASY (New Orleans) I believe these were once Illinois Central tracks which are now operated by UPRR. These tracks lead to what becomes the longest elevated rail bridge (Huey P Long) about a 1/4 mile away. As you can see, these are pretty easy pickin's in a small quiet neighborhood. It's amazing, before I started(my 2nd time this location), these insulators have remained undisturbed. Most are 42s in ice with date( 0-4.) Some others WT 1s and Hemi 45s.
