Series Street Light Breaker Insulator with Wire

This section was cut from overhead wire many years ago and each side of the loop fed to a series street light below. This was from an unused section of wire left dormant on a side street in Cohasset, Massachusetts. The Brockton Edison Company (who bought out the Abington and Rockland Electric Company serving that town until the late 1940s) converted their series street lights there (and neighboring towns) to multiple 120V ones during the 1960s.
