That's my archeological relic dug by me shown on the left. And on the right is another relic (but in nicer green!) that Joe Maurath, Jr. got from a dig. No, I mean a dug. Dig! No!!! I mean from a Doug! That's right! He got it from Doug MacGillvary way back in the 1970s for some paltry sum at one of the Connecticut Polecat shows back then. Since Joe only had just enough pocket change to fuel his 383-four barrel 1968 Plymouth Road Runner back home (not mentioning Mass Pike tolls) Doug was kind enough to let Joe have this insulator (inner skirt chip and all) with a monthly payment plan. How much? Back then CD 200 Stars in green came sorta cheap so I hear, and I know those two guys struck a good deal! Joe acclaims to this day how wonderful it is to deal with Doug M and things certainly have not changed! Two wonderful pioneers in this hobby to say the least! |
