Interesting place, when I crossed the border, it was a trip back in the time. We went there a weekend to shopping, because it is cheap to us. In Szabadka (Subotica) is 8 km far from the border, we didn't need long trip in that country. I took photos from the car, we didn't stop, because the policemen and some people hate the Hungarians, we want not be in trouble... In the market is OK, because the money don't have smell :-) Subotica's population's 60% is Hungarian, they live not the best place.. It was good market, we could pay wit our money, HUF, Euro and YUD. Unfortunately I didn't find Insulators in the flea market :-( But I got very cheap duty free cigarettes and Ouzo in the border crossing station :-) On the poles are Deltas, and general 0.4 kV Insulators, The air-fuse Insulators and the street light was imported from Hungary. The Deltas and the small Insulators are : "Porcelánska Arandelovac , Arandelovac, Serbia" only The general type poles are steel, rarer times concrete. |
