This has got to be the most difficult insulator to describe...color-wise! This piece along with a couple others came from a short stretch of fire alarm line in SE Massachusetts years ago intertwined with some half-clear/half-blue Hemingray-19's that are otherwise identical! Normally Hemi-19s of this type are clear, ice-blue or aqua (or some other exotic darker color). This one could not make up its mind if it wanted to be clear or blue! The photo does not capture this one very well. All I can say beyond this is the fact that my friend Joe M owns it will attest it is the strangest Hemi-19 he has seen! By the way, this one has RDP. Joe also mentions that among the several excellent Hemingray-19 "signal" displays that he has seen (including the incredible one at the 1995 Marlboro, MA NIA National) this is a piece he has not encountered before!
