This pole( the biggest of 3 remaining, all within a 50 yd length) had 40 insulators on it. About 4 were badly damaged and left. About two shattered on the way down. Stood 6 feet on ladder and used a 24 ft grabber and still had to stretch. About 28 fell softly on the ground below which was padded with dead leaves, pine needles, thick bushy weeds, etc. A couple of blue Hemi 42s, the rest were Hemi 40s( a couple with patent date), some had dome #s, some had a space between No and 40. Some had a flea bite or two. Some had steam streaks. One had a really nice amber spiral which seemed to circle around three times. One has lots of bubbles One is somewhat two tone with the amber giving an almost green aqua dome down to the lower wire ridge and blue aqua below. Another has junk in lower skirt which looks like a white grub worm or maggot!! For common glass they have some nice character. Will try to post more pics soon. Using a regular camera and scanning the photos. I won a digital Canon and still haven't used it after 6 months. Just haven't gotten around to setting it up. That is my next project.
