I'm deciding to part with this piece after much consideration. It is a truly unlisted Brookfield 102 pony. The embossing is Skirt : BROOKFIELD/ Mold #6. To my knowledge this is the only known skirt embossed Brookfield 102 with a mold number on the skirt under the primary embossing. I have asked the leading Brookfield and 102 collectors in the hobby in person or through email over the past year if they have ever seen one and they can not recall ever seeing one. I seriously doubt that it is a reworked 101 mold because the numeral "6" is much larger and in a different style or "font" than seen on the 101's. The piece was in a collection of 102's that I bought from a club member in 2003. It came out of the York Pa area, being acquired there in an auction. Price is $300.
