This is a great U-401 with somewhat of a tigery glaze that is common in older Ohio Brass units. One thing is for sure, of all the U-401s I have seen, both in my hand and on poles, they all have a distinct individual personality. I have never seen the tiger stripe glaze before. It also leans a bit. Each one is trimmed a little differently. This particular one is in almost perfect shape, I find nothing wrong with it except for some crusty dirt that I will include with it, only because my acid is not available right now.
