Think of it, when you buy, trade or find a glass insulator that has "come out of" New England....think about all of the hell it went through during its life!! Hurricanes, extreme heat/cold, snow, rain and even tornadoes. For such a piece (especially glass!) to have survived over 50 years should be deemed as remarkable! While we do not have actual photographic documentation at hand to show the harrowing extremes New England insulators have experienced, this is another shot of how they might have looked many years ago in service.
