Here are two nice recent acquisitions. Both are currently unlisted. On the left a CD 166[020] (straight sides variant) in blue with a long milky worm in the front. On the right is a CD 161[020] signal in lilac -- a bluish purple which is very different from the typical reddish purples. These "newly discovered" finds did not come off some long forgotten line, but out of collections of .....ICON members!! I will be coordinating a major combined display of California and C.G.I.Co. insulators at the 2005 National. It will have numerous unlisted and seldom seen Cals in a killer-killer display that we hope can surpass the combined display of the 1981 Sacramento National. We expect to have major pieces on display from the Dave Hall, and former Lenny Philbrook collections that were on display at the 1996 Long Beach National. If you are coming out to San Jose, please let me know if there is anything you can contribute. You would be surprise at what you have. |
