Here is a German 220/380 KV power line pylon.

On the left side is the 220 KV line and on the right side the 380 KV line.

The insulator chains (brown ceramic rod insulators) on the right side are about 5 meters long (10 feet = about 3,10 meters).

Each wire is designed for max. 1040 amps!

If you stand under such power line, you can hear the power flowing (Due to the corona effect).
