This pole is on another railway not far from the last two pictures. I've posted a picture of this pole before on ICON but my new telephoto lens enables me to take closer shots and spot things I've never seen before. These red cordeaux are now hard to find in the wild and damaged ones make it even harder. Had this one not had a chip it would be worth around $200. In this condition it would be worth less than half. To make matters worse the chip looks pretty recent. Thankfully there are another three red ones on this pole and they appear to be in good shape.
