More produce from the garden this year. The slender hot peppers are Thai Peppers, the orange peppers are Habanera's, and the red ones are Caribbean Fire's.

Hot peppers are measured on the Scoville scale. According to the New Mexico Chile Pepper Institute, A Jalapeno is rated at 7,000 Scoville's. Thai's measure from 75,000 to 150,000. Orange Habanera's are 100,000 to 500,000 (depending on the type - the Caribbean red, I believe, is a hotter type Habanero than the orange). Anyone else out there like to eat these things? I dried them in a dehydrator and plan to mix them all together. This was just the first picking - I hope to have many more!
