Dealer Information
Recently Steve and I have heard several folks say: “I would really like to come to the show and have a dealer table but I hear that all the tables are already reserved.”
Please be aware that dealer tables are reserved on a “first come” basis.
There will always be someone who previously had one or more sales tables but cannot attend this year for a variety of good reasons. Consequently, if you want a sales table, there most probably will be one available (don’t wait until Thursday night before the show to call!). The cost of a sales table is $35.00. All sales tables are 8-foot long. Electric power is available to most tables at no added expense. You do need to bring an extension cord at least 25-foot in length (the outlets are in the ceiling so we string the extension cords overhead). You do need to bring your own table cover.
Furthermore, while we have averaged 125 sales tables over the past seven years, the show has never been “sold out.” The floor plan will comfortably accommodate 132 sales tables. The greatest number of sales tables occupied has been 129 (2005); the smallest number, 121 (2003, the year the National was also in Springfield). Please note that this is an insulator and lightning rod ball show; there are no Coca-Cola bottles, beanie babies, &c.
Dealer set-up time runs from approximately 3:00 p.m. until about 8:00 p.m. on Friday, 2 November. Additional set-up time is available Saturday morning for those who arrive late on Friday, or early Saturday morning, from approximately 6:30 a.m. until about 8:00 a.m. when the show is opened to the public.
