The photos were taken in bright sunlight so that the colors of the darkest pieces were well represented. The best part of the information that accompanied the color photos was a listing of the time period that the insulator was manufactured and also the areas of the U.S. and Canada where the insulator was in use. The many hours walked by this father and son and their family members has provided tremendous historic information for the hobby.
