RARE "H.G.CO." CD 151

Here is a rare opportunity for you to add a very tough Crown Jewel to your collection. Now for sale is an H.G.CO CD 151 in Green Aqua with amber swirls found throughout the piece. There is so much amber mixed in the glass that one could call it Yellow Green with Amber swirls with a splash of aqua. As mentioned, this piece is rare with less than 10 known examples known to exist in the hobby today. This particular insulator comes from our personal collection and is the first time it has ever been offered for sale to the insulator collecting community. Overall condition. There are some stress cracks found about the piece. These stress cracks most likely occurred when the temperature fluctuated while on the pole. Of the five examples I have come across these stress cracks are common on all of them with varying degrees of depth. The stress cracks on this piece vary from light to one that is fairly pronounced on the PETTICOAT skirt side. None of the stress cracks affect the insulators integrity or its displaying power. There is one small, shallow flake of missing glass located underneath the upper wire groove. This chip most likely occurred at the time the insulator was being installed and tied in. A small fisheye can be found on the dome. There is a little light windburn located on one-quarter upper side above the wire groove (not at all bad) and not easy to see. To round things out, there is a small, narrow and shallow wire rub found right below the lower wire groove off to the right side. The remainder of the piece is in very good condition. The piece displays fantastically from multiple directions and lighting configurations. An opportunity such as this to see such an insulator is rare to be offered an opportunity to purchase one in this un-listed color combination is practically unheard of. This may be your last opportunity to own of these rare beauties for years to come. So if you have been looking to add something really unique to your collection and will continue to appreciate over time, this is an excellent choice. The price is $1750.00 in U.S. Dollars. We will pay for all shipping and insurance costs to your door. If you would like to know more about us, or more about this insulator, write to us and/or check out our seller information and customer satisfaction ratings on eBay (insl8rs) or (mailto:insl8rs@aol.com). Thanks for looking and happy collecting! Paul and Cheryl Ziemer NIA 5909.
