This is a very solid piece. Overall in very very near mint condition. There are some drips that did not fill all the way and some that have open bubbles, but there is no damage to the drips or the skirt. There is some minor wire rubbing inside the wire groove on the left side. Other than that the outside surface top to bottom is perfect. The only damage is two very small flake chips to the inner skirt. one is so small as to be almost unmentionable. the other is about one third the size of a pinky nail. The color is dark cobalt to inky cobalt. Either of which book at 400.00 to 500.00 in the price guide. John McDougald appraised this piece for me 3 years ago at 450.00.
