The next series of posts will cover the various CD 126 colored Brookfield's which were found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph lines located in Georgia. For the most part, the colored CD 126's were on the line running from Fort Valley, GA to Columbus, GA - there were a few exceptions. The insulator on the left is a CD 126 embossed "6/ W. Brookfield (arch) / 45 Cliff St. / N.Y" on the front dome and "Cauvet (arch) / July 25 1865 / Pat Jan " 1870 / Feb 22 " " on the back dome and is a nice blue green. The insulator on the right is a CD 126 embossed 6 / W. Brookfield (arch) / 45 Cliff St. / N.Y. on the front dome and "Cauvet (arch) / July 25 1865 / Pat. Jan. " 1870 / " Feb. " " in a nice deep yellow green. The blue green came from Georgia and the yellow green one on the right was purchased from "Marshal" Dick Bowman many years ago.
