This is a CD 145 is a "H.G.Co. on the front skirt and "Petticoat" on the back skirt in a neat light yellow green almost lemonade yellow color. I think this looks like uranium glass and under the right lighting has a glowing yellow green color. This insulator was not common, but I did find a fair number. I removed all I found as this was one of my better traders. I think I might have put somewhere between 50 to 100 of these into the hobby via trades. The CD 145 H.G. Co. Petticoat in shades of aqua was fairly common, the lemonade color was uncommon, and the light SCA color was very uncommon. One could find the aqua shades and the lemonade shade on the line South from Macon to Albany, GA and West from Fort Valley to Columbus, GA. Another interesting note is that many of the lemonade units carried many cull or potstones in the glass. I suspect that's how the interesting color developed in the batches of glass.
