This is a CD 160.7 American Insulator in a vivid yellow green which was found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line North of Byron, GA. The actual embossing is AM. INSULATOR CO. N.Y. DOUBLE PETTICOAT. PAT'd SEPT. 18. 1881. NOV. 18. 1883. on the rim. It is not mint as there is minor rim damage - no glass missing. It's still a prize insulator in my collection. The CD 160.7's were found on almost all sections of the telegraph lines in Georgia, but most were aqua shades. I found this one in yellow green and two more which were traded into the hobby that had more chipping. I think I might have traded 10 to 15 of the aqua colors into the hobby. Under room lighting, this color is very fluorescent and just glows. I don't hear the term used anymore, but back in the 70's folks called this insulator the snow cone.
