Here's something you don't see every day. I found this one all alone in a huge antique shop about 25 miles southeast of Rochester, NY. The shop was located not very far from a couple old ceramic insulator plants (Lima, Locke, etc.) I don't collect ceramic, but this was the only insulator, and it certainly is different. Anyone able to identify the U number ? Who's the manufacture ? It measures 4 3/8" tall by 3 1/2" dia. The inner skirt extends about 3/8" below the outer skirt. |
