Cleaned a group of H.G. CO. / H on top beehives the other day. When I finished, I noticed one with a large circular imprint on top of the dome. The embossed " H " was in the center and the circle sunk in around it. The circle appears to be the imprint of a "washer" of the size that would be used with a 1/2" bolt. The washer was pushed well into the glass and fell away when the insulator came out of the mold. The center " hole " fits perfectly around the " H "

Used Lee Brewers" method of spraying with a light coat of flat black paint, so as to photograph and make the detail show better
