CD206 [030] Light Straw, rounded turrets.

Often attributed to McLaughlin, this example is believed to be an unmarked Maydwell product as indicated by the style and number of drip points (26), the annealing rack indentations on the base (one of which can be seen in the photo) and the rounded turrets.

Recovered in Hawaii almost two decades ago, having been sequestered in the estate of an older gentleman it was inherited by relatives who lived in the eastern United States before finding its way to the Rick Kelly collection in Northern Utah and eventually to me!

It retains the surface staining from the volcanic dirt built up over many years in service on a line in Hawaii.

Displays mint, has 1 finger nail sized chip up from the base, effects two drip points... Otherwise completely flawless! (Chip has same level of staining as the rest of the insulator indicating it happened at time of original install)

An excellent all original example of this scarce insulator with a cool story to boot!
