A four-arm run of these insulators with active, heavy copper cables on them ran between the end of Park Station (behind the photographer) through Boylston and almost to the next stop which was Arlington. The entire stretch was at least a quarter mile long. The "crossarms" are still there but the insulators are gone. This run only was on the northerly side of said the stations/tracks.
