Here's a rare porcelain U-2034 with a 1 1/4" wide slot top! Found in Spain but has a feature I've only seen on an elusive French insulator maker Electro Ceramique P Salley where the base slumps wider than the skirt. Unfortunately doesn't show well in the photo, but its obvious in your hand. There is a wide slot version made by PFC another French manufacturer but they usually mark most of their insulators (and don't have the flared base).

These wide slot variations are not listed in the books or NIA website but I have seen them in old catalogs so it is not a factory anomaly. These were made in 3 different sizes! The narrow slot version is the only one shown in the books/online which is ironic as it is the toughest of the 3 sizes to find!

Excellent condition, especially for these slot tops that carried heavy cables- only a 2/3 pinky nail thin flake on the slot. Otherwise super condition!
