Recently picked up a father/son collection of approximately 1600 insulators out in the Colorado boondocks (about 1400 were common). These three were found in the shed. The story goes that they walked into a country store when the son was just a kid and the dad spotted these on the owners' chair and offered to buy them. The store owner probably figured they were getting wore out and needed replacing anyways, so let him have them. Can you imagine anyone putting that pricey Blobtop on a chair leg these days? I'm still looking for that missing fourth one.
