The newbies have gone crazy, all right! What started as somewhat of a joke, turned into TWO indoor telephone poles. Being the anal cabinetmaker that I am, I was not satisfied using lumberyard stock, so I made the poles out of maple. The pole that isn't pictured has a birds eye maple pole - it's beautiful. We can post a picture of that if anyone is interested in seeing it. The pole in the picture is in our dining room - right next to the Coke machine.

I've also come up with what may be a new variation on a light box. When I put one together, I'll share pictures of it.

It's nice to take an insulator off of a pole without the possibility of being shot at by a farmer, or arrested...

By the way - we kept the "Mexican threadless" - it serves as our daily reminder that we're still learning. :)
