This is the Buntzen Lake power station of the British Columbia Electric Company. The station is located on Indian Arm. Which is ocean level. The water for the pelton wheel came from Buntzen Lake up the mountian. This photo shows the CD 319 insulators in use. The line ran into Vancouver which is around a twenty mile run. The whole line used CD 319 insulators.1910 era all the CD 319 insulators were changed out to porcelain types.
