This is what is happening to the oldest dump in town(C 1860-1940). Amherst decided that after fifty years of dumping the sewer into the LaPlanche river, there gonna build a pump house and pump the sewage 1.7 KM to the sewer plant. But they decided to build it on this dump, which is surrounded by marsh!! they are killing history and nature!!! There no trespassing signs mean nothing to me though. I've walked down that road for 14 years, and I'll continue to do it till i die!!!! There is the second oldest dump(C. 1870-1950) in amongst those groups of trees in the rear. My only guess for why they moved the dump is that I'm standing on the railway, which went through in 1870, which is when I'm told the second dump began!!
