Here's some of my favorite insulators on their original pins and brackets. The U-393A Pittsburg was found in a transformer building in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The person who took it out of the building told me there's many more in there waiting to he saved. The U-925 Fred Locke was found in a antique mall in Pennsylvania. I think it was used in a transformer building somewhere in that state. The lime green CD 133.4 Dec.19. 1871 bullet is mounted on a early and rare gable back side pin with square nails and it came from Wisconsin. It still has red paint on one side of it. Maybe it was taken off an old RR Depot there. The transition embossed CD 162 H.G.Co on the Fletcher corner bracket came from Pennsylvania. It's covered in green and white paint. The gray U-191 Thomas transposition was found recently at an auction in Michigan. Everyone of those I know of came out of Michigan. The CD 133 H.G.Co No.7 standard was used on the fire alarm system in Saint Louis. https://www.insulators.info/pictures/?op=original&id=600895012
