A ten-foot crossarm designed for ten pins with some of them still in place as we see here. I am familiar with this type of crossarm. The local utility where this was photographed used them for many years. The were creosoted and their heavy, solid (unthreaded) pins were very snugly hammered into the drilled-out holes on these arms.
