This old unembossed soldier weighs almost twice that of most other CD 170 Pennycuick's. Despite the extensive swirling, bubbles, gunky matter, etc., within the glass, this is one real hefty dude! It also is one of those "turn around" pieces. That is, if you were to view this insulator in person you probably would be holding it up to the light, turning it around all day (like I sometimes enjoy to do). All of the action going on inside of it gives a virtual motion effect!

To do justice in sharing its fascination, I am posting two more views of it. Click "Next" for a couple more looks.

I got this bubbly some years ago from a very good collecting buddy in Pennsylvania (you know who you are!). I have never seen another piece anything like this one.

I would like to greet everyone into the New Year with my very best wishes for good health and happiness ;-)

And while we are on the topic of "bubbly", if you are celebrating tonight, please remember to drink responsibly (don't spill any on yourself or on others).

LOL!
