This brilliant peacock blue Westinghouse No. 2 was from a trade from Gerald and Esta Brown in 1970. I swapped an amber CD 134 T-HE Co. in really nice shape for it, which at the time was considered an-even-Steven deal. Despite almost selling it once (in need of cash for a collector car deal that *fortunately* fell through) this little insulator proudly stands high and mighty in my collection! Never to be offered for sale again! A rather unusual aspect is that it does not have the annealing lines that many Westinghouse ponies possess. Although it doesn't have a lot of dome glass like some others do, the fact it is in mint condition easily make up for that :-). |
